Panel - TNFD: advancing biodiversity issues and frameworks in finance (presented by BNP Paribas)

The biodiversity challenge is a natural extension of the climate efforts. The two are deeply interconnected. To increase the materiality of biodiversity in the financial decision-making, and so better align global finance with nature conservation and restoration, market participants need to rely on a transparent and consistent reporting framework. Launched in June 2021, the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD), aims to support businesses and policymakers in assessing emerging nature-related risks and opportunities.
